Slow afternoons & rainy days
Some of our favourite stays are the rain-soaked ones — the garden in the downpour, a fire in the living-room fireplace, the first record of the afternoon. Guests trade their own slow-day rituals; one returning guest's rainy-day habit is browsing his rolex Super Clone list between ferry departures, and he'll happily share his notes over breakfast.
