We started Boxwood Cottage in the spring of 2001 . Here are some comments from our guest book.... (That's the treehouse behind us.)

 

"We were both thrilled that you had gone to the trouble of saving us tickets for the Garden Tour that had the whole of Powell River taking part (so it seemed!). It was a fabulous introduction to the area and kicked off our weeks vacation to a great start. We have (on alternate days) hiked ourselves to a standstill and slept, slept, slept. Heather and I both feel that we will return to our busy lives in Vancouver having had a glimpse of where we would like to be in a few years time, ie: in a great old house with a huge garden, doing work that we enjoy. You've inspired us! We hope that you both have continued success running your various businesses and maybe next time we see you, you will be the proud owners of Powell River's first (and only) curry house! *Hint to future guests.........go to Savary Island for the day, it's wonderful. Hiking Inland Lake is recommended too.*"
